AMOSOLAR issues an important notice regarding the confirmed adjustment to China’s VAT export rebate policy, which will take effect in 2026 and influence the cost structure of solar exports.
Policy at a Glance:
- The VAT export rebate for photovoltaic (PV) products will be eliminated starting April 1, 2026.
- For batteries, the rebate will first decrease from 9% to 6% between April 1 and December 31, 2026, and then be fully eliminated from January 1, 2027.
This change will lead to a baseline cost increase for shipments after the respective deadlines. To mitigate this impact, we strongly advise our partners to finalize orders and complete export procedures before April 1, 2026, to secure current pricing.
