Amosolar Powers Sustainable Innovation for Dutch Horticulture
Release time: 2026-01-20
Location: Westland, Netherlands
Project Scale: 350 kWh Scalable BESS Cluster
Client: A high-tech greenhouse specializing in year-round berry cultivation.
The Challenge: The greenhouse required a stable, clean energy supply for LED grow lights and climate control systems. Their goal was to reduce natural gas dependency and participate in the national grid balancing market for additional revenue.
The Amosolar Solution: We designed a future-proof, scalable energy storage solution using three interconnected Amosolar cabinets (350 kWh total). The modular design allows for capacity expansion later. The all-in-one outdoor design was perfect for the humid greenhouse environment, and our Sodium-Ion batteries offer a sustainable advantage with their cobalt-free chemistry.
Implementation & Integration: The Amosolar system was integrated with the greenhouse’s combined heat and power (CHP) unit and sophisticated climate computers. We programmed it for a triple function: optimizing PV self-consumption, providing grid services (frequency regulation) upon request, and serving as a backup buffer. Our software automatically selects the most economical or grid-supportive mode.
Outcome & Feedback: The project creates a new revenue stream through grid services and has lowered the carbon footprint of the cultivation process. The grower stated: “Amosolar understood our dual mission of economic and environmental sustainability. Their system turns our energy strategy into an active, intelligent asset. It’s a partnership for growth.”*
About أموسولار: These cases reflect our commitment to delivering not just products, but reliable, tailored energy solutions. From understanding local regulations to providing ongoing system oversight, we partner with businesses across Europe to turn energy storage into a cornerstone of their operational resilience and sustainability goals.
